Black Maternal Health support includes trusted contacts in Scotland and Hoke County plus statewide and national resources.
Warning signs include severe headache, chest pain, trouble breathing, heavy bleeding, swelling, vision changes, or feeling not right.
Members are encouraged to bring a support person, write questions down, and ask providers to explain options.
Postpartum support is health care; reach out when mood, sleep, or anxiety feels overwhelming.
Emergency: call 911 or go to the nearest ER for severe symptoms or unsafe situations.
