These Terms & Conditions apply when you visit franklinchapel.org, submit a church form, register for an event, use an online giving tool, request information, or participate in a Franklin Chapel communication program. By using these services, you agree to these terms and any instructions presented with the specific service.
1. Church Website And Ministry Information
Franklin Chapel provides worship information, event details, ministry resources, media, forms, giving links, and church communications for members, guests, families, volunteers, and the community. We work to keep information accurate, but schedules, speakers, locations, programs, and availability may change.
2. Appropriate Use
You may use the website and church communication services for lawful personal and ministry-related purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt the website, gain unauthorized access, submit harmful material, impersonate another person, misuse church contact information, or use church services for fraud, harassment, or unlawful activity.
3. Forms And Information You Submit
When you submit a form, you agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Information is used for the purpose described on the form, such as visitor follow-up, membership, ministry participation, event registration, prayer, pastoral care, volunteer coordination, or church communications.
4. Online Giving And Payments
Online gifts may be processed by GiveWP and connected payment providers. Payment providers may apply their own terms, privacy practices, security procedures, refund rules, and processing requirements. Questions about a church donation record should be directed to the church office.
5. Text Messages And Automated Voice Calls
If you affirmatively opt in, Franklin Chapel may send recurring non-promotional church announcements, worship and event reminders, ministry updates, schedule changes, emergency notices, prayer or community-care updates, and similar church communications by text message or automated voice call. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of donating, attending worship, becoming a member, or receiving church services.
6. Opting Out And Getting Help
For text messages, reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. To stop automated voice calls or update your communication preferences, contact the church office at 910-276-2923. Requests will be honored as promptly as reasonably possible, although a final confirmation message may be sent.
7. Mobile Information And Consent
Franklin Chapel does not sell mobile information. Mobile information, text-message originator opt-in data, and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process information only as needed to deliver church communications and operate the service.
8. Third-Party Services
The website may use or link to CallingPost, payment processors, giving platforms, Microsoft forms, YouTube, maps, social networks, event tools, and other outside services. Their separate terms and privacy practices may apply. Franklin Chapel is not responsible for the availability or independent practices of third-party services.
9. Church Content And Media
Unless otherwise noted, Franklin Chapel website content, branding, graphics, photography, video, audio, sermons, and ministry materials may not be copied, sold, misrepresented, or used commercially without permission. Services and events may be photographed, recorded, livestreamed, or shared online.
10. Privacy
Use of personal information is also governed by the Franklin Chapel Privacy Policy and the disclosures shown on individual forms and communication sign-up materials.
11. Availability And Disclaimers
The website and online services are provided on an as-available basis. Franklin Chapel does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free content, or continued availability of every third-party service. Website information is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or emergency advice.
12. Limitation Of Responsibility
