FUN-DAY with BIG-Z
What do you get when you mix strikes, snacks, smiling kids, and a whole lot of friendly competition? You get Big Zβs Bowling Night at Laurinburg Lanes β and wow, what a night it was!
From the first ball rolled to the last pin dropped, the vibe was pure joy. The lanes were packed with families, kids giggling between turns, parents cheering each other on, and plenty of high-fives and hilarious gutter-ball reactions. Whether you were a pro or just out there for the laughs, every lane had a story.
The Kids Were the Real MVPs π
Watching the little ones light up with each roll was priceless. Whether the ball took a straight shot or zig-zagged the whole way down, every pin knocked over came with a celebration like they’d won a championship. There were high-fives, dances, and even a few impromptu victory laps β and the grown-ups were loving every second of it.
And Then Came the Showdown…
Pastor Hayes had everyone talking as he quickly took the lead. Word on the lane is: he doesnβt just deliver powerful sermons β the man delivers strikes too! π€― One bowler was overheard saying, βOur pastorβs not just a preacher or teacherβ¦ he’s apparently a secret bowling champion too!β Weβre honestly wondering whatβs next β bowling devotional series, maybe?
Not to be outdone, Dr. Armstrong made a crowd-pleasing comeback and claimed second place in true clutch fashion. That final strike? Clean. Smooth. Cinematic. It mightβve been the loudest cheer of the night!
Strike or Gutter, It Was All Love β€οΈ
While the scoreboard added a little thrill, the true victory was in the laughter, connections, and memories made. People came together β some who hadnβt bowled in years, others trying it for the first time β and every lane was full of love.
Massive thanks to Laurinburg Lanes for hosting us, our Media Department for sponsoring the event, and to the entire BIG-Z family for showing up with heart, humor, and a whole lot of bowling swag.
Until next time… keep your shoes laced, your game face ready, and donβt be surprised if you see Pastor Hayes warming up for a tournament. ππ³
